We build the AI brain for any robot

Perception · Planning · Autonomy · Fleet management

POLCERO builds an AI intelligence layer — perception, planning, control and fleet management — for humanoid and specialized robots. The same AI stack serves all POLCERO branches: fine-tuned VLA models, YOLO vision, edge+cloud architecture and a data flywheel. The robot hardware can be the customer's own or selected from our catalog; we supply the intelligence.

WHAT WE BUILD

Four layers of robot intelligence

VLA fine-tuning

Open VLA models (GR00T N1.7, π0, OpenVLA) fine-tuned on customer-specific data. Abstraction layer allows swapping base models without retraining your task intelligence.

Vision & perception

YOLO-class detection for real-time object recognition, depth cameras (RGB-D), LiDAR, multispectral and thermal. System 2 VLM for scene and language understanding.

Edge + cloud architecture

On-board edge inference for <10ms latency control. Cloud for training updates, analytics, fleet management. Data flywheel continuously improves performance.

Classic control where sufficient

PID controllers for simple, repetitive grasping and cutting — lower cost, higher reliability. Reserve AI for complex perception and scene-understanding decisions.

APPLICATIONS

Tasks and jobs robots can take over

Analyzed from field experience and current robotics deployments worldwide.

Construction site

  • Site manager / supervisor — autonomous site walks, 360°/LiDAR scans
  • Progress vs. BIM comparison — deviation detection, as-built documentation
  • QA inspector — concrete, structure and finish quality checks
  • Surveyor / layout — floor layout printing, column and wall positioning
  • EHS coordinator — hazardous zone inspection, gas and heat detection, safety patrol
  • Reality capture / inventory — material tracking, site digital twin
  • Site security — perimeter patrol, after-hours monitoring

Warehouse & logistics

  • Trailer / container unloading — suction gripper or humanoid
  • Palletizing and depalletizing — cobot + vision system
  • Order picking — AMR fleet + goods-to-person stations
  • Forklift operator — autonomous pallet jack and forklifts
  • Packer — robotic packing cells

FAQ

Common questions about the AI brain

What is the POLCERO AI brain?+

The POLCERO AI brain is an intelligence layer we build for robots — combining VLA (vision-language-action) models fine-tuned on customer data, YOLO-class vision for detection, and fleet management. It runs on the robot's edge compute and connects to cloud for training.

Which robots can you add an AI brain to?+

We can integrate our brain with humanoid robots (Unitree G1/H1/H2, Atlas, Apollo, etc.) or specialized robots. We either integrate with the customer's existing robot, or help select the right platform from our catalog, then fine-tune and deploy.

Can a robot replace a construction site manager?+

A robot with our AI brain can perform many site management tasks: autonomous site walks with 360°/LiDAR capture, BIM comparison, deviation detection, EHS patrols, as-built documentation. Human decision-making remains in the loop for critical judgements.

How do you automate trailer unloading?+

We deploy robots like Boston Dynamics Stretch (mobile case-handler with suction gripper) or humanoids with our AI perception layer for trailer/container unloading. The robot uses computer vision to identify and unload cases 24/7, delivered as Robot-as-a-Service.

What is a VLA model?+

VLA = vision-language-action. An AI model combining visual perception, language understanding and action planning. POLCERO fine-tunes commercially-licensed VLA models (GR00T N1.7, π0, OpenVLA) on customer-specific data for precise robot control.
